This past Saturday, August 13th, over 20 volunteers collected over 50 pounds of trash in about an hour. It was a great clean-up event with the Potomac Conservancy and National Park Service.

Even though it was so much cooler by the water than everywhere else, we had to respect the Heat Advisory, and called it in early. Volunteers still managed to make a significant impact in helping to clean up the Potomac.
